New River ATV
New River ATV is a guided OHV tour and rental operation at ACE Adventure Resort in Fayette County, West Virginia, immediately adjacent to New River Gorge National Park: the newest national park in the system, designated in 2020, and one of the most scenically dramatic river gorges in the Appalachians. The operation accesses 100+ miles of private trail on the ACE property and surrounding permitted land, offering a range of guided tour formats designed for riders who want a curated experience rather than self-navigation of the HMT or national forest networks. The guided structure means riders of varying experience can access the New River country terrain safely: tour leaders know the trails, the technical sections, and the history of the gorge country they're riding through. Machine options include Yamaha Kodiak 450 ATVs for solo riders, Yamaha RMAX 4 UTVs for groups, Yamaha Tenere 700 adventure motorcycles, and Jeeps. Operators must be 18+ with a valid US driver's license. Adventure Tour packages start at $195/machine for 2.5 hours; Experienced Rider Tours run $350/machine for 5 hours including lunch. The New River Gorge setting (canyon walls, whitewater river views, historic coal-country infrastructure), makes this one of the most scenically distinctive OHV operations in the Mid-Atlantic region.
